SGS Legacy Partners

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2, 2026

This policy explains how SGS Legacy Partners (“SGS Legacy,” “we,” “us”) handles information on this website (sgslegacy.com) and in Cashflow Planning, an internal application we use to forecast cash for the businesses we own and operate. Questions: meredith@sgslegacy.com.

This website

The website does not use contact forms, accounts, advertising trackers or cookies of its own. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it only to respond to you. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may record standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, to operate and secure the site.

Cashflow Planning and QuickBooks Online

Cashflow Planning is used only by SGS Legacy and the businesses it owns. It is not offered to the public. When an authorized member of our team connects one of our own QuickBooks Online companies, the application accesses, through Intuit’s official APIs and only with that person’s authorization:

  • Company information (company name, legal name, country).
  • Account names, account types and current balances for bank and credit card accounts.
  • Basic profile information of the connecting user (name and email), when the OpenID scope is granted.

We use this information only to produce internal cash forecasts and reports for our own businesses.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or share QuickBooks data with third parties.
  • We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising or marketing.
  • We do not access QuickBooks companies that SGS Legacy does not own or operate.

Storage and security

Authorization tokens and application credentials are stored encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager or in access-restricted files on company-controlled systems, and are never published or committed to source code. Reports produced from the data are available only to authorized SGS Legacy personnel behind Google sign-in. Data in transit uses HTTPS.

Retention and disconnecting

Forecast snapshots are kept as internal business records. Access can be revoked at any time by disconnecting Cashflow Planning in QuickBooks Online (Settings → Manage connected apps) or by contacting us. After disconnection we delete the stored authorization tokens and make no further requests.

Service providers

We use Intuit (QuickBooks Online), Google Cloud and Vercel to run our systems. Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top.
